I take very few photos of myself and generally give few opportunities for others to do so. I thank those who have passed me photos to put here. I had no pictures of me in naval uniform, nor in any Bandsman’s uniform, nor sailing. There is pitifully little from the hills or even running. If you can add to my collection, please do send pictures my way. Life in China requires evidence of activity, where in Britain this would be considered self-aggrandisement. This exemplifies our cultural differences.
